Hello and welcome
This is a story of how I met video games :)
I remember the day that the wife of my uncle, one year in christmas (if i remember correctly) she had a present for me.
It was a GameBoy! That day was the day I have my own game console and could play games any time I wanted (if my mother let me :P ).
The next years I bought some new games and a gameboy camera, this was fun. Of course one of those games was donkey kong, tetris, pokemon.
The first game I can remember playing on a desktop computer was the Age of Empires at an internet cafe of a friend (at that time we didn't have a desktop computer home).
The Command & Conquer: Red Alert in 1996 with friends at the internet cafe was amazing. Following lots and lots of other games after that.
I was introduce to StarCraft around 1998 from the brother of my pal and also same thin with the Unreal Tournament in 1999.
The 2000 was the year we bought a computer at home. Pentium 4 512mb ram (i think) 20gb hdd and of course a legen wait for it dary NVidia GeForce2!
I have install the Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos in 2002 and after that Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne in 2003, lots of hours playing those games and of course making new maps! It was incredible!
Until then I was changing nicknames with nothing good at that point, after the film The Lord of the Rings came out I choose my nickname ElessarGR (Elessar.GR).
At an other internet cafe again with friend, I play for the first time a MMORPG the Mu Online 2003 and after that follow Lineage II 2004.
In 2005 I start playing FPS games. I start with Call of Duty 2, I loved it from the first time. I remember playing hours online with my pal.
I still remember those awesome maps like Beaumont-Hague, Dawnville, El Alamein, Harbor, Moscow and Toujane. I played this game over 2000 hours.
After that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2007 came out. Best FPS ever, 3000 hours easily.
Then I start to plaing multiplayer more serious, I try to play with some plan and strategy. I thought that was time for me to try join a clan for more competitive games and match.
I was searching of a good greek clan. I find out from callofduty.gr a clan named HEAT (Hellenic Elite Armed Team), I send them a request to join the team and im in!
Im starting to learn how to play with some really weird rules and some guys I didn't know at all, they was talking soo fast and with code word for places.
Little by little I was starting to understand the meaning of those rules and the code word. I finally start to playing some quality competitive game. Match after match and practise after
practise we make a good strong team.
I was added at the main team for cups, tournament, lans,ex. The best experience it was a match with the Dignitas team at 2009. Oh men, this guys were in an freaking high level.
Some where here I find out about a game called Portal and was release in 2007. The guys who came out with this puzzle game was genius.
After the infinity ward was tare apart the next call of duty games they came out was not good for competiteve, I turn to the battlefield series.
Start with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in 2010 and after that Battlefield 3 in 2011 until 2012.
Start ShootMania Storm in 2013 for some months and now 2014 Watch dogs.
I remember going to my first tournament, I was very nervous and anxious, after some rounds I finally relax.
LG 3D MW2 03.Oct.2010
lots and lots of ClanBase and ESL.
Here are some more video games I play
a helicopter game from the cereals :)
Call of Duty: World at War 2008
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 2009
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2010
Portal 2 2011
For my gaming equipment I love the Logitech gaming series.
An old keyboard G11, I have changed many mouse from the mx510 until now with the G500 and the best headset made ever G35.
For a mousepad I didn't know what to bought and a friend suggest me the Steelseries 5L, best again mousepad.
